Terms of Service

Effective date: 8 March 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using LexDraft AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service we provide

LexDraft AI is a software platform that helps users draft, revise, export, and share legal-document templates using structured questionnaires, automation, and AI-assisted text generation. The service may include free, subscription, and one-time paid features.

3. No law firm or legal advice

LexDraft AI is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, or similar professional relationship through your use of the service.

All generated documents are drafts intended for informational and workflow support purposes only. You are responsible for determining whether any draft is suitable for your needs, legally sufficient, accurate, complete, or enforceable in the jurisdictions that matter to you.

4. Eligibility and account use

You may only use the service if you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract and are at least 18 years old, or you have the legal authority to act on behalf of an organization that uses the service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, for all activity under your account, and for ensuring the information you submit is accurate and lawful to process.

5. User inputs and third-party information

You may submit information about yourself and others when using LexDraft AI. You represent that you have all rights, permissions, notices, or other legal bases required to provide that information and instruct us to process it on your behalf.

You should not rely on LexDraft AI for emergency, time-critical, regulated, or specialist legal matters without review by qualified counsel. That includes situations involving litigation strategy, highly regulated sectors, sanctions, employment disputes, immigration, tax structuring, securities law, or legally privileged advice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • —using the service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, or abusive purposes;
  • —attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, extract prompts from, or interfere with the operation or security of the platform;
  • —submitting malware, malicious code, or content that infringes third-party rights;
  • —circumventing usage limits, account restrictions, pricing, or security controls;
  • —reselling the platform as a competing legal automation service without our written permission; and
  • —representing to others that LexDraft AI or its outputs constitute legal advice or legal representation.

7. Fees, subscriptions, and billing

Some features may require payment. LexDraft AI currently uses Stripe to process subscriptions, upgrades, and certain one-time purchases. Prices, plan features, and billing intervals may change over time.

  • —paid subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle;
  • —one-time purchases and usage-based credits may be offered for specific products or document-generation flows;
  • —you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method associated with your account for fees, taxes, and other applicable amounts; and
  • —refunds, credits, and billing adjustments are handled in our discretion unless a non-waivable law requires otherwise.

8. Intellectual property

As between you and LexDraft AI, you retain rights you may have in the information you submit and in finalized documents you lawfully create using the service, subject to third-party rights and applicable law.

LexDraft AI retains all rights in the platform, software, interface, designs, branding, templates, prompts, systems, and underlying technology. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Beta features and service changes

Portions of the service may be released as beta, preview, or experimental features. Those features may be incomplete, unstable, or changed, suspended, or removed at any time without notice.

We may also change plan structure, features, templates, integrations, or service functionality as the product evolves.

10. Third-party services

LexDraft AI depends on third-party providers, including providers used for hosting, AI processing, authentication, payments, and email delivery. We are not responsible for third-party systems, websites, policies, outages, or acts or omissions outside our reasonable control.

11. Warranties disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LexDraft AI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or results.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LexDraft AI and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to LexDraft AI in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LexDraft AI and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, failed to pay amounts due, or used the service in a way that could harm others or the platform.

You may stop using the service at any time. Some provisions of these Terms survive termination by their nature, including provisions relating to payment obligations, limitations of liability, disputes, and intellectual property.

15. Governing law and disputes

Unless non-waivable local consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, except where applicable law in your jurisdiction gives you additional rights to bring a claim elsewhere.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will revise the effective date and may provide additional notice by email, in-product messaging, or other reasonable means. Your continued use of the service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
